amazing

Wednesday, October 26th, 2005

didnt come to work for two days cos of some problems with the console. oh well. i miss this place.

saw the lineup for zouk…like the full line up. I had heard of who was coming and all but when i finally saw that postcard with the lineup and all, I MUST GO! Thank god its a sat so i will definitely be there for sure. :)

made a new friend recently. She is a twin of mine. ( I’m not sure if people who know me, would find that very exciting) But anyway, we share the same feelings towards things, we do the same things, or at least we try to, and we have the same kind of friends. Its amazing how i could click with a girl i just barely met. We even decided to go have drinks and hang out and really just have fun, right after we first met.

Okay, i am not turning lesbian. Really.

But anyway , my saturday night is booked for you, Faye.

:)

You have no idea how glad i am to have met you.

the past weekend was rather alright. went partying, watched a movie with my siblings..chilled out near the esplanade with my friends. Spent some time with people whom i haven’t seen for quite a bit really. Muacks to all of you. :P

one person whom i really need to see very soon :

aishah you silly little thing, where are u hiding?!?

anyway, yesterday was a tiring day at work. My feet were hurting so badly at the end of my shift. After which, i met a friend and then ran off to meet my siblings to celebrate a birthday. My parents called from malaysia too, and my guess is they are coming home on wednesday or so.

Hari raya is coming and i havwn’t prepared anything. I haven’t painted my room, or buyn new things to brighten it up, i haven’t baked anything (amazingly!!!) and i haven’t even stepped into Geylang.

:(

and i think my moodswings are getting worse by the day? It’s that time of the month and my body is in an all complete low. I hate it cos i’m tired all the freaking time, my back hurts and i am grouchy.

guess i just have to hide it.

today.

Thursday, October 20th, 2005

didn’t do much today. was at work and did practically nothing cos the restaurant wasn’t so busy. in the afternoon, i went to the organic shop, bought some granola ( yum yum) and a banana/carrot loaf then headed home. Took a shower, then headed out. Had dinner with Todd and then ran off to where i am now.

at work.

tomoro an old friend has asked me out. not on a date. but to some graduation thing which i really don’t know anything about. the thing is i haven’t heard from him for like years and suddenly he calls me and asks me to some event and at that point of time, i was busy packing my bag and also caught in a state of shock (since he called).

okay the point is, we had a really short conversation and my mind wasn’t 100% there (okay, A, you can kill me now) so i don’t know if it was really him who called and asked me out, or maybe i was just hallucinating.

oh s**t.

anyway, had a talk with kamal today and i might be seeing him tomorrow. I have so much stuff going on tomorrow. argh. morning got to do so many things, afternoon got that eventwith my friend, A, then evening got to meet kamal and night i got to work, after which i will be heading to ZoUk.

and i got nothing to wear!

Just got from town yet again. Met Sonia, and just followed her to get her new jeans. Looks good. :)

Work was the same. As usual. I was busy the whole day really, customers in and out. Thank goodness no difficult people to handle. I also bought two more story books today. Yay! I’ve neglected reading for some time now…and I’m glad to get back into it again. The bookshop uncle was so happy to see me ( i use to borrow books from him all the time) that he recommended six different titles to me, but i only left with two. I could have easily bought all six but then i didn’t want to carry all of them with me. But I’m glad i got the two books! :)  hehehee.

Today i heard an excellent piece of news from him. God must have heard your prayers and i suppose answered it. I must say He took quite a while, but I’m glad this opportunity has come your way. It’s a case of making it, or breaking it, right now. I’m praying somehow that this will be your perfect solution, a perfect answer, to this major problem you have. I’m really hoping for this, as much as you are. :)

Okay i know i shouldn’t say this, but I’m so lazy to work now! I know my job is quite simple, but i have two new books in my bag and i really really feel like reading them now.

Am halfway through the first anyway!

japanese

Tuesday, October 18th, 2005

I smell of japanese teriyaki sauce.

Silly / greedy / hungry me had decided to buy two sticks of the chicken & green peppers and whle eating i had nicely dripped the sauce on my top. grrrr. Spent the next few minutes in toilet agonising over the dark brown stain which smelled stronger than my Green Tea perfume. It’s horrible! The stain refused to budge, even after i had washed it with soap. And the smell stuck, plus this time it was combined with the lemon scented handwash soap from the Paragon toilets. Just great.

Took a nice walk around Paragon and contempleted getting so many things. In the end, like true Sabrina-nature, i ended up buying nothing. The items i had in mind are still in my head though. Annoyingly. And i saw this heavenly wine which i hd read about in Wine Spectator recently. Almost got it until i realised that i cannot afford to bring anything of that sort into my home. But it was awfully cheap and for something that earned 93 points in a recent wine review, it was hard to resist. I held the bottle for a few seconds and placed it back onto the shelf reluctantly after. Urgh.

Met Sonia and Aaron today and we sat at Starbucks. It was nice seeing you again, Aaron. As always. :) And Sonia, still the same. Love your jeans. :) Hahaaaa.

Anyway, am at work now, and the first song on my playlist is Modest Mouse! Good music to kick off three hours. :) I just took a look at my playlist…very very interesting. :) I will have fun tonight.

And work also signals that its my time to go.

nothingness

Monday, October 17th, 2005

at this present time, there isn’t much i can tell you about my life..mainly because everything is roughly the same. I wake up at the same time,  i do the same old routine. The only thing that changes is perhaps, my mood which isn’t too good lately. I have been having a few thoughts in my head which never seem to go away..instead, they hide in the corners and unknown crevices of my silly brain and only appear when i’m trying to get some sleep.

things i would like to share :

1. alea n. murray - the name of my new godniece. AzRina is expecting and her  Valentine’s Day baby will be given that pretty name. I am so excited! :)

2. handphone - my handphone is currently having moodswings as well, and it doesn’t seem to work when i want it too. Apologies if i don’t pick up your call, and that’s simply because the buttons are jammed. And, sorry if i don’t reply your msgs. My phone display is a permanent blue screen.

that’s just it really…

the first day.

Wednesday, October 5th, 2005

today i managed to fast.

i was well-behaved. I tried to be. i cursed a bit though and hmm, had some naughty thoughts in my head but tried to keep them away by doing things like…falling asleep? Hahaha. Not for a long time though, cos by the time i reached home after my lunch thing, it was pretty late.

Spent some time cleaning my cds (again) and just watching my sister ernie and my younger bro play some wierd diamond game. I tried playing but i kept losing, so i gave up. I don’t like these diamond jewel games. I keep losing that’s why i don’t like them. haha. sour grapes. I prefer those driving ones. Speeding kinds. oh well.

Only managed to grab a small bite to eat for "buka" as i had to rush off to work. I think i ate too fast cos while walking with Yati ( my elder sis who’s working night shift) to the plaza, i had this unbearable stitch on my left side. urgh.

Reached work earlier than expected and had a nice oatmeal drink. Just to fill me up. I’m freezing now cos i left my white J-LO jacket at home. hahaha! Its actually a huge ass white sweater, which my sis dubbed the J-LO jacket. You won’t understand till you see me in it, with hoop earrings and what not. Oh God, i look absolutely minah boyyyyy. Hahahaa!

Anyway, work has been alright for tonight. Someone i missed a lot called me earlier. Thank you for calling me and letting me hear that voice of yours. Missed you a lot too. Maybe we shall meet again some time but hopefully not at gay bars please. Haha.

On another note, i met Rahman yesterday. he is soooooo sweeet. :) And i still cannot get over the fact that his waist is smaller than mine and still shrinking. Urgh. :)

ok i better go now and get back to work.

ps:  Selamat berpuasa to all of you. May God be with you in heart and mind always. And may He watch you and guide you in what is destined.

gorgeous.

i had a blast of a weekend.

friday night

that night was spent with special friend fakhari who apparently had broken up with other. I was dragged onto the dancefloor as soon as i stepped into that place. didn’t even have a drink. Later on i did. Like two glasses of vodka. I was dancing on the platform..way up high away from a bunch of crazy indian guys who had appeared right beside me, out of the blue. I swear, it was like a movie. some of them had coordinated moves. Didn’t managed to peek if they were wearing same tops though, except maybe of different colors? hahahaaa! I am so evil. But i was alright..didn’t get drunk. Just trying to cheer Fakhari up. Got my ass back at home by 3.15 and quickly showered and got to bed since i had to work the next day at TCD.

Met a friend too. Anne. She’s back, that sweet little thing. :)

Saturday

Worked till like long long time. Tired as hell, i went to meet Sonia. We hung around her pool and just chilled for a bit, having some munchies. :) Hehehe. Went back later that evening, and just stayed at home. I was damn tired. Must have been all that dancing the previous night.

Sunday

This was a great great day! Spent some time by myself just rolling around in bed, feeling lazy. Then went out to watch STOMP! It was awesome!!!! Loud clanging noises using all sorts of wierd household items..hehehehe. I had a lot of fun, and enxt time i think i will get a seat by the side, cos the seating area is not as bad as i imagined. You pay cheaper, and get a so-called "blocked view" but honestly, i don’t see anything blocking the stage at all. perhaps, its just an angled view some people wouldn’t really like. Anyway, it was a great show and all of us were like…clapping and stomping our feet away…haha. I like the small guy, the comedian! he’s so cute, i wanna take him home. :) hahahaa.

After the show, me and Todd were starving and thankfully, Thai Express was open. We sat there, decided on our dinner and while waiting for our food, i had Todd entertain me with his own version of STOMP. hahaha, you were so funny!!!It started with the fingers tapping on the table..then god knows what else followed. hahahaha, I’m laughing just thinking about it.  So cute. Heheheee. :)

Then later after our quick dinner, we sat by the ESplanade, got some fresh air and headed back home. And along the way, we saw this circle of people sitting outside a bar and my guess is they were the memebers of STOMP. We didn’t approach them, but Todd recognised the black guy..from somewhere and we kept turning back to see them. I was just looking for "funny small guy" but i couldn’t tell cos they were all sitting down. :(

So that was my weekend. It was great! Clubbing, chilling and a great show, in three days! :) Must do this more often. heheheee.

ok gtg work.
