watched superman yesterday and it is such a good movie!!! I am in loveeeee with Superman. sweep me off my feet!!!

so me and adrian were just staring at the screen as Clarke Kent ripped his shirt off and turned superhero, flying through the city and saving the world. He has that twirled piece of hair and he’s soooo cute.

the typical conversation:

me : i wanna be lois lane!

Adrian : i wanna be lois lane too!

after we watched the movie, adrian went to meet his friend and i spent the later part of the evening with two jewish friends and singapore’s second strongest man. Mark didn’t come ( you SHOULD have, btw) and we were just hanging out at arab street.

today i woke up with a bad eye. i couldn’t open my left eye today and i guess the infection has got worse. That’s bad news. I now look like one of the cast memebers in pirates of the caribbean. if only johnny depp could kiss my pain away. hahaha.

i know i haven’t been updating much but fear not, i’m still just as deluded.

i’m typing this when by right i should be in bed…

life’s been alright. It’s been ages since i updated but u sure didn’t miss much. Have been spending nights out with the usual bunch, chilling out and making a hobby out of silly things.

work has been alright. Things have been good. The family is okay, and my parents are away to Mecca. My sister has rebonded her hair and taken over the throne of being the babe of the house. I’ve been gaining and losing weight like a yoyo, except the gaining part super exceeds the losing part. haha.

heard from an old friend who told me what a wonderful time she was having overseas. She’s on holiday for the longest time already but she’s no plans to come home. Keidi came back from the states recently, Greta left for London last night and Eunice i discovered will be staying in Brisbane longer than expected. Gene is in Tokyo. Danlin is in London, Rina is busy with her baby in US and Becky is in Msia.

I wanna go overseas too. i wanna go sightseeing, shopping, be a tourist and take silly shots with the camera with a cute Japanese peace sign and my eyes wide open. I wanna have a bubble bath, bounch on fresh new sheets and pillows in a hotel room and wake up to a hotel breakfast every morning.

Almost blew 152 bucks ona pair of shades. Adrian persuaded me not to. Whatever he said worked like a charm although i’m still dreaming about it.

sigh.

oh on a happy note, i got a pair of earrings from Spain! Thanks to Shahi’s wife of course. Will show them off duroing the weekend. ehehee.

guess the blog isn’t much of a use nowadays…

life has been alright. My parents are back from malaysia and i’m as usual, busy as a bee. Work has been alright…been trying to setlle with change. Past three months have indeed been quite different and exciting….exposed to the different elements at work. Not mind boggling certainly, but quite amusing i must say.

have been shopping. wayyyy before the GSS. I started early i must say, i did a reality check a few days ago only to realise i need another one. FYI last month alone saw 4 pairs of shoes and three new bags, endless new tops and skirts. I’ve been eating out prettty often lately. My wallet gets thinner, smaller, while my tummy gets bigger.

Went to zouKK yesterday with boy but left really early. Just too tired. Honestly i’m just too zoked out from running between two jobs and going out even on my days off. It’s a bad bad habit. I need to learn to relax. 

Boy and i were talking about the SummerSonic 2006 in Japan yesterday. And today i went to the website. Eyes almost popped out.

Lineup:

and lots of other crazy bands.

and yes, so i am lost. lost beyond words. Just a few days ago i held the latest copies of NME and Q magazines, complete with the pullout guide to global summer parties and dance festivals. The pullout guides came with mini pullout guides on how to survive the crazy crowds of music festivals. It was exciting. You could read it from page to page and feel the energy. The pictures in the mags were crazy funny. I wanna wear wellies with short denim shorts and a crazy looking halter too. Find a nice guy with big shoulders to sit on during the shows. Scream my lungs out and not care cos the person beside me might be too damned stoned to even realise that we exist in the same plane on earth.

oh well.

i know for sure i won’t be able to end up among the thousands who will flock to the SummerSonic_06 but i guess i’ll still keep surfing their website. Just for kicks.
