it is just me or are more people rearing/keeping rabbits these days.

everywhere i go, i’ve seen a bunny. Whether its under my block, or around the corner, or on the way to the bus stop. Freaking rabbits everywhere. I have nothing against them but i’ve noticed that they’re all kept by chinese families.

is there something that they know, that i don’t? Is the rabbit a lucky pet to have in the year of the pig? Will it bring great fortune and health and prosperity?

i asked a friend. she said, maybe its to give us all a better sex life. wahahaa. humping rabbits, is that it? and that equals to perhaps… baby bonuses? I’m 24 and i’m still a bit raw on our govt policies, so forgive me on that.

anyway, if you do live in bukit panjang, keep your eyes open for those animals.

especially if you stay around my place, the uncle who repairs the bicycles, he has, i believe a total of 8 bunnies. I couldn’t count, they were all a furry blur.

Someone on the other side of the road has 3 bunnies, one skinny one, and two fat hairy ones. ok fine, bushy ones. hahaha. what a description. you know what i’m talking about right. the bunnies that just look like a ball of fur.

okay just a quick one….

• today is my off day! finally. i will be starting on homework soon.
• i had a dream two days ago, it was horrid. dreampt that someone forced me down and place a gun above my heart and pulled the trigger. I don’t know what that means but i was so scared i woke up struggling. it felt damn real.
• the parents are returning home friday.
• i am hungry.
• yesterday, i realised that most shops in raffles place have clothes in free size. and i don’t fit ANY of them. I’m not surprised anymore. According to Mary France Bodyline/SlenderShapes/any other weightloss centre, 65 kg is a really BIG deal. so. hmm. must lose weight. I am massively obese. i need an igallop. or whatever, papa thingy. and maybe flabulos, and a thousand and one slimming pills.

it’s the start of the crazy week. When all the kids and youths, all students alike start hanging around town 24/7. Its that time again when all teachers go bonkers, cos they have to come up with lesson plans and stuff, all to prepare themselves for the new semester. It’s also the week where the boy has fled to lead a camp somewhere in a remote part of singapore. Actually its in a school, so not that remote.

well, whatever it is, it is a week for all singaporeans to go broke. IT fair, NATAS fair ( or was it Chan brothers), school holiday break all mean one thing. Spending. Whether its necessary or unnecessary, the wallets become heavier, due to accumulation of receipts and what not. Some of you might say, lighter, cos of all the money spent, but hey at this point of time, i have realised that students these days use credit/debit cards too.

( i saw it with my own eyes today. I was in a bus and a girl in her uniform was proudly showing off her new credit card to her friends. All thanks to mummy dearest of course.)

and i have finally dedicated a real off day to myself this week. Wednesday, i hope will be full of fun and surprises. I will do homework in the morning, and watch DVDs all noon, and rest all night. Maybe hang out with the girls for a bit. After all, it’s wednesday night. hehehehe.

its quite early in the morning, or late at night if u wish. I’m sitting here, quietly in my sister’s room and just waiting for slumber to hit me.

my submission was last tuesday. Last night, actually. I’m proud  to know i made it through one module of school. It’s been a trying month. Hectic because of my incapability to juggle both. Its been difficult but i have tried my best to keep my head above the water.  And when i was down, i had the love of my life sit me down to tell me that everything would be okay. Here’s to more good in the coming months. Be it studies, work, play, family, relationship or health. God is fair, and He shall give me what He thinks i deserve.

A good friend went to the doctor’s today for help. Miss Lim, hope you get well soon. If you have to have needles stuck into your neck, or stand on a  scale and hold on to a brass cylinder, so be it. Let the electric current pass through you body and to your nerves. Wake them up again, so that we can  head down to arab street and do the things we used to. i miss our shisha moments. Been long long timeeeee.

another close friend of mine, or someone i deemed ‘long lost twin sister’ has reappeared in my life! Rina is back finally, lugging a huge ass suitcase behind her and holding an infant in her arms. Aydinnnnnnnnn! Can’t wait to see you and your mummy. Life won’t be back to where we left off, but it certainly would be more fun and beautiful. And omg, Rina can drive! Time to put the seatbelt on and make our way down to the obscure locations in singapore once again. Can’t wait!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to some of the most gorgeous people in my social circle. First up, Adrian! You’re one year older now. Apologies for not turning up for your party. You know i love you always, even though we can drive each other crazy sometimes. Hope this year will be a good one for you!

And coming up, happy birthday to my loves, Razak, Keith and Raj. Razak obviously, the one and only person who has seen me through the shit and happy times. Two years working at TCD has taught me so many things, mostly about Life. And half of it was all from you.

Keith, the manager and friend. Keith i love you even though you spewed vulgarities to J5. I understand, it was the alcohol talking. Besides, you my boss. :)  The best i can do is tell you to shush. and smile afterwards.

came home at three am this morning after standing for 12 hours at fort canning. at least, it felt like 12 hours.

good vibes 2007

- it was greaaaat. i had a lot of fun. It all started by standing in the rain and then  listening to emo guitars by the local bands. Four of us, me, Fiq, Keidi and Keith. We were joined by Raz afterwards. He was, with his…posse? hahaaa. he was with his friends, who seem to know half the people in front of us, and also all the local bands. they’re walking friendsters seriously.

I also met a few of my old pals, gene, zhiling, people i haven’t seen for a while. farah etc etc.

back to the evening, it was obvious that everyone couldn’t wait till the beastie boys took over the stage.here’s a breakdown on how i felt about everything.

i am david sparkle performed when it was drizzling way bad. super emo guitars almost drive my bf mad but i liked it. I wish they ahd performed a bit later though. they need the smoke machine and red lights effect for all that emo thing going on. the band’s alright but guess they didn’t have much of a crowd. Pity.

bushmen are bushmen.

guerilla collective provided a distinct sound in between the sets. It was good but i had to miss half the set due to call of nature. I rushed to toilet and the queue was that long. when i returned, they only played for another 5 or 10 mins then they were gone. So i can’t comment.

wicked aura batucada did what they always did. they brought out the crowd. I couldn’t help but dance myself cos of their energy. I’ve always lovvved watching them, they never fail to bring about a great performance. I wished they had a longer performance though. And perhaps a timeslot later in the evening. I like this group.

electrico. You know i’ve never been a great fan of electrico. I kidna think they’re overhyped for a regular band but i must say they had a good performance yesterday. the crowd recognised their songs and i could see some younger ones mouth the words to the lyrics. And i found myself paying attention to the band for a short while. especially when they played the tainted love song. Cos i like the tainted love song. ahahaa. just never heard them sing it before. Must have been just me, cos i’m out of this whole music thing for a while.

Agrikulture was happening shitttttt. The lead is damn cool, i don’t know what happened to his hair but he’s got it right man. he’s damn funny and after 15 mins, i noticed how he kept grabbing his crotch. I pointed it out to keidi cos she’s got this thing for crotches, hahahaaaa. he’s damn feeeeeling it. You have to catch this guy perform again. their sound was good too.

cicada made a big big mistake. That lady wearing a pink glimmer getai top invited pple to dance on stage. Anyone who’s got that footage should put it on youtube and name it ‘ white people can’t dance’ or maybe ‘some white people can’t dance’. Even keith said it was utter embarassment. Justin said ‘ Boy, aren’t you glad you’re asian’ hahahahaaaaaa.

CutCopy wasn’t very much appreciated. I like their genre of music but after a while they didn’t give anyone else a good impression. I think cos Cicada made everyone impaitient and hungry and irritated so when they heard CutCopy they were like wtf… i still think they’re an alright band. they should have played for a shorter time and other tracks though. they got boring towards the end.

Jurassic 5 took forever to come out man. I was a bit pissed but i liked them so screw that.And they’re very good for theiur show. Synchronised and clean rap. And i liekd that Chali2na guy…….his voice is soooooo dope. Fiq said its too clean for his liking, but i think its damn refreshing to hear ol skool stuff thats not about pimps and drugs. Keith said they were mumbling mumbo jumbo. I told him to shut up. Jurassic 5 was good. And that’s that. I’m sure keidi agrees with me on this one.

beastie boys were ddddddddddddddopppppppppe!!!!!! I think if anyone buys the 80 bucks tix just for this act they would have found it damn worth it. They had energy and they’re like damn ooooold now la. the crowd went crazy for almost every single tune they played ( except the slow one cos it would be relak jack time before the pple started jumping again) and everyone i knew was screaming, jumping,singing, screaming again.They mixed all their songs with recent rnb and reggae hits and the crowd went wild for a while. I almost got giddy cos it was dammmn stuffy. keidi was already trying to catch their breath. think only kieth was alright cos he was waaaayyy taller than anyone else. but anyway, the beasties played all their great hits, sabotage in particular was dedicated to the president of united states, and that song just drove raz and fiq crazy. They were just awesome, everything about them was awesomeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

i’m glad i start work a bit later today. Waking up at 10 feels pretty good. I had bad bad dream last night though. Will spare you details.

Vday was alright. Was at work pretty much all day till 6. Then we had chicken rice, went  to his place to say hi to his parents, went to ikea, went back to my place to say hi to my parents and then he went home. I got a new study table from ikea,nice red cushions, eight latte cups and a whole bag of tealights. The last two are for work, obviously.

I also got a new computer! That one, FOC, thanks to my baby and it helps that he’s around to carry all those items up to my house. HAH!!
